Por is our incredible manager at The Bamboo Rooms in Koh Samui, Thailand. Since joining us, she has transformed our wonderful team into a true family, helping elevate The Bamboo Rooms, Samui, to levels we could have only dreamed of.

Originally from the serene province of Nakhon, Por embodies the warmth of southern Thailand. At 18, she set out to broaden her horizons and moved to the vibrant island of Samui. With a background in hospitality, Por developed her English fluency to the point where it’s more than just a second language for her.

Por’s friendly and engaging nature ensures that every visit to The Bamboo Rooms feels special. Her exceptional attention to detail creates a welcoming atmosphere that will make you feel at home throughout your tattoo experience.

In addition to her role at the studio, Por also organizes temple visits and offers opportunities to be blessed by a Buddhist monk, providing a unique and authentic Thai experience that is often hard for visitors to access.

Jay is originally from Nakhon in the south of Thailand.

Coming from a more rural background, as a child he would entertain himself daily with paper and pencils, always sketching and coloring. Throughout his parent’s home, his sketches and drawings adorn the walls, proudly on display. These walls show how his art skills naturally developed over time. From childhood drawings of action figures and superheroes to the intricate and detailed designs of today.

As he grew older he moved from pencil to skin, delicately carving his own bamboo sticks by hand and learning to translate his designs onto skin. With nearly 2 decades of experience behind him, working in the tourist destinations of Thailand before briefly traveling to the U.K, he has truly crafted his art form to become the incredible artists he is today.

Geng hails from the beautiful city of Chiang Mai, nestled at the base of Doi Inthanon mountain in northern Thailand. He is a naturally gifted artist, known for his exceptional talent and passion for sketching.

Geng always keeps his sketchbook close, ready to custom-draw unique designs tailored to each customer. He has a deep love for working with colors and creating bespoke tattoos, ensuring every piece is personalized.

Fluent in English, Geng began working for The Bamboo Rooms in Koh Samui in 2003. Before that, he was highly sought after in Chiang Mai. With over 20 years of experience in tattooing, he brings warmth and expertise to every client, making each visit a memorable experience.
