If you type “bamboo tattoo” into google you will be inundated with hundreds of pictures of poor hygenic bamboo tattooing practices. Artists (word used loosely) without gloves on or with the fingers of the gloves cut out!! One person stretching the skin whilst another person tattoos. If you see this then run away and run fast. There is no need for this. An artist should be able to tattoo the skin without help and will always wear gloves with absolutely no exceptions. Also gloves should never be reused. If you move away from your work station for any reason what so ever then new gloves should be used. I can assure you that here at The Bamboo Rooms® we go through hundreds and hundreds of gloves and all with the fingers as they should be and properly disposed of into a medical waste bin.
