The Suea Koo Sak Yant with the two tigers represents “Maha Amnaj” (power over one’s subordinates), and ‘Serm Yos’ (Improve Status and Promotion). There are various but similar interpretations of Yant Suea Koo depending on which Kata Incantations are written around the Yant, however all are written in the ancient Khom language.
In the wild the tiger is strong and powerful and therefore this Sak Yant represents strength, power, protection and conviction, as well as authority over one’s subordinates. It installs in you the essence of the tiger’s spirit. For this reason, the Twin Tiger Sak Yant is popular amongst military personnel, businessmen and politicians. The Sak Yant is also thought to offer help in business dealings and is often used by entrepreneurs to find the strength and mental resolve to find success in business.
However, the Twin Tiger Sak Yant Tattoo is widely known in the west due to its popularity amongst Muay Thai Fighters who display it prominently and proudly when they compete which has led to it becoming a firm favourite amongst foreigners.
What makes the Twin Tigers so special is that it contains another individual Sak Yant that sits between the tigers. This is the Yant Putsoorn” which is commonly referred to as the Yant Prajao Ha (Ha is the number 5 in Thai) Pra Ongk, due to the fact that it contains the 5 syllablle mantra; “Na Moe Put Taa Ya”. Putsoorn means “Buddha concentrically aligned” this is because each letter of the Kata is written around the previous one, resulting in a concentric circle of letters. Despite this the main dedication of the Suea Koo is to the tiger so this spell can be worn on the lower body as well as the upper body. When choosing this spell it is important to remember that in order for it to work it comes with a rule which is that you must now scavenge, no eating of others plates or enjoying a buffet!
