I’ve had two tattoos done here by keng. Both experiences have been absolutely fantastic, from the drawing, through to the tattoo, through to chatting with keng about his background and Thai/Buddhist culture. This is a unique traditional tattooing technique and one which needs support to preserve it for the future. Theres no loss in quality over machine needling and the whole process is much more comfortable. This is the place to go for a truly unique tattoo

War heute bei Oy tätowieren und fand es überhaupt nicht schmerzhaft. Er ist sehr freundlich, arbeitet sehr sauber. Ich werde bei meinen nächsten Thailand Besuch sicher wieder zu ihm tätowieren kommen.
Bereits seit vielen Jahren bin ich regelmäßig Gast der Bamboo Rooms. Und wurde auch dieses Mal nicht enttäuscht. Keng, the King of Bamboo, ist ein einzigartiger Künstler, der sein Handwerk zur Perfektion gebracht hat. Jedes ist ein Unikat. Selbst die üblichen Sak Yant Tattoos tragen seine individuelle Handschrift. Ein Tattooatelier das mein absolutes Vertrauen genießt, auch weil hier die europäischen Standards in Hygiene und Tinte mehr als erfüllt werden. Zudem ist das Tätowieren mit dem Bamboo Stick viel hautfreundlicher, da die Haut nicht wie von der Maschine zerrissen wird und auch die Schmerzen halten sich in Grenzen. Dazu bekommt man noch einen unterhaltsamen Künstler und Mensch mit großem Herzen, bei dem selbst stundenlange Sitzungen wie im Flug vergehen. Lasst euch nicht von seiner grimmigen Art zu Anfang abschrecken ;). Aber mal von Keng abgesehen, auch die anderen beiden Künstler (Oy & Jay) verstehen ihr Fach und ergänzen das Bamboo Rooms Team. Einmal Bamboo Rooms, immer Bamboo Rooms. Egal ob auf Samui, in Leeds oder bald auch in Chiang Mai.

I am in love with my tattoo! It was my first tattoo ever and I couldn’t be happier about it, it is so precise and beautiful. Jay was super focused and he is such a nice person as well as Oy. Visited on 28th november travelled up from the midlands had a sak yant (single tiger ) really pleased with it and the bamboo rooms kengs work is first class . Would deffinatley recommend to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo. Keng did it exactly how I had imagined the tattoo to turn out.
